All the non-essential NPC's have really poor voice quality. Jason, as well as all the other main villains and characters you meet sound fine. Changing the in-game menu language. Hi, I'm probably not the only one who has this problem. My in-game menu's are all in my native language, but being a typical 'gamer' who wants to experience games 'as they were intended', I'd like to change this to English. There is an option that allows you to change the subtitles, that one works.

I have a similar problem, game runs fine and intro has sound, but as soon as Intro ends, all sound is gone. I have tried every fix i found with no luck, installed newest DirectX, reinstalled game, patched it, updated sound drivers - still no sound in singleplayer and multiplayer- only intro cutscene..
Heres how >>> START >> Run>>> type in> dxdiag.exe > go to the SOUND tab > at the bottom theres a thing called hardware sound accerlation level > move down to the second to last one (basic accerlation) and then voila !!! (It worked on ,mine BTW ) BUT WARNING i did this 4 gta SA to NO accerlation and then the sound starts to go in 2 other game YcYb.
